Philips Unveils DesignLine TV, Boasts Front Made from Single Sheet of Glass



Philips has officially unveiled their DesignLine TV, and the front is made from a single sheet of glass. When it's not in use the television disappears and looks like a pane of black glass leaning against the wall. Continue reading for a video and more information.

According to Philips: "The new TV carries the Philips DesignLine hallmark of lightness and transparency; a TV without a neck, without a stand and without a visible frame, one seamless sheet of glass leaning against a wall." The new DesignLine TV will feature 117cm (46") and 140cm (55") sizes and will be available in the UK in June 2013 priced at £2000 and £2800.
