Mason jars continue to assert their dominance as people find new and creative ways to upcycle the jars, transforming them into new objects for everyday use. Cal Poly State University students Adam Wegener and Ron Sloat introduce their contribution in the form of this Mason Jar Speaker & Amplifier.
The perfect mobile speaker for those of you that are always on the go, the entire speaker and amplifier is self-contained within the mason jar itself. It’s powered by one set of batteries that allow for up to 20 hours of music playback. The best part is not only does the stereo-out jack hook right up to any mobile audio device, but it can also be hooked up to musical instruments. Great for camping trips, beach ventures, and for listening to music in the garage while turning a wrench.
