Mars Rover Curiosity Found Water On Mars

In a groundbreaking discovery, the Mars Rover Curiosity has confirmed the presence of water on Mars. How much? About two percent of the soil, or two pints per cubic foot. Unfortunately, the water molecules are "bound to other minerals in the soil,".

The discovery is important for a number of reasons, but especially exciting because of what this means for future missions to Mars.
