A new rugged camera has been launched today in the form of the Fujifilm FinePix XP200, which has been designed to take extreme knocks and bumps.
The Fujifilm FinePix XP200 can withstand drops from 6.6ft, and freezing conditions down to 14°F (-10°C), as well as being waterproof to a depth of 50ft or 15m, and is dustproof as well.

The FinePix XP200 is also fitted with Wi-Fi image transfer features that allows you to move photos from the camera to tablets, smartphones and computers without the need for a cable, or upload your photographs to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter in seconds, with ease. FujiFilm explains a little more about the movie features of the new FinePix XP200 rugged camera.
“The FinePix XP200 allows users to shoot amazing action-packed HD videos delivering full HD 1080i (60fps) movie capture as well as a high speed movie recording at up to 240fps for incredible slow motion playback. The XP200 also features advanced in-camera movie editing including, “movie editing” and “movie join” to seamlessly pull together multiple video clips into a single movie.”
The FinePix XP200 compact camera will arrives in stores during May, priced at around $300.
